Andrew was brought up in Wales and gained his Bachelor in Dental Surgery in 1988 at Cardiff, and then went on to work in several hospital posts in the disciplines of Restorative Dentistry and Maxillo-Facial surgery. After building considerable hospital experience he passed the examinations to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1992.
Andrew then took up an academic post as a lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Bristol. He held this position for several years before moving to private practice in Oxfordshire in 2003.
Andrew is one of only a few clinicians to limit his practice solely to the provision of dental implants. He placed his first implants in 1993 and is now highly experienced in his field with a success rate exceeding 99%. He has particular interests in advanced aspects of implant dentistry including bone grafting surgery, computer guided implant surgery and enhanced natural healing using the PRGF technique.
When not at work, Andrew is a keen skier and scuba diver and loves spending his time in the mountains!
